One of Canada's foremost artists, Haida artist
Bill Reid, an outstanding gold and silversmith
turned sculptor, is a national treasure and was
instrumental in inspiring Native people to reclaim
their cultural heritage. Two of his images have
been reproduced in traditional black and red
prints to enhance either the home or office.
In Haida legend, the Beaver represents prodigious
renewable wealth and the Killer Whale is the Lord
or Chief of the Ocean People. Framed and double
matted prints measure 34cm x 28cm. Each piece
comes with a biography of the artist and the Haida
legend of the image.
